A Letter from the President

The Planned Giving Council of Greater Dayton strives to increase the quality and quantity of charitable gifts in the greater Dayton area by serving as the professional resource for the local charitable giving community. We host educational and networking events throughout the year to encourage dialogue and collaboration among gift officers and professional advisors. By facilitating philanthropic support, we hope to not only benefit our donors, clients and charities, but also to contribute to the betterment of the greater Dayton community, as a whole.

Founded in 1996, the Planned Giving Council of Greater Dayton is one of more than 130 local councils that make up the National Committee on Planned Giving. Our membership is comprised of planned and major gift officers, fundraising consultants, attorneys, accountants, financial planners, insurance agents, bankers, trust officers and other financial services professionals and donor advisors. We invite anyone interested in charitable gift planning to join our council, attend our programs and become involved in the greater Dayton charitable giving community.
